Familiar Systems is a collection of small software tools for metaphysical practices. These tools are inspired by my own eclectic Western practice and a tech-positive, queer femme sensibility. I see code as ritual medium and each tool is a “familiar,” a little helper made for personal, repeatable, nonscalable use. These games ask what changes when intimate practices like divination, spellcasting, and attention-tending meet interfaces, and how thoughtfully built software can resist the extractive design of platforms.
